Extra cheesy, tomatoes piled on and a delicious honey drizzle, this crispy pizza recipe by Bec Taylor from Food Design Studio checks all the boxes!
Ingredients
- 1 Gluten Freedom Fancier Sourdough Pizza Bases
- Β½ cup tomato passata
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 2 teaspoons finely chopped fresh oregano
- Sea salt and cracked black pepper
- 250g cherry tomatoes, halved
- Β½ cup grated parmesan cheese
- 150g burrata cheese
- Handful fresh basil leaves removed from the stem
- 3 tablespoons honey

Instructions
- Place your pizza tray or pizza pan in the oven and bring the oven temperature up to 250 degrees bake.
- Whilst the oven is heating, prepare your pizza sauce.
- Combine the passata, tomato paste, chopped oregano, salt and pepper in a medium sized bowl.
- Brush the smooth size of 1 Sourdough Pizza Base with the homemade pizza sauce.
- Top the sauce with halved cherry tomatoes and then a layer of parmesan cheese.
- Split the burrata cheese into smaller chunks and arrange over the pizza.
- Top the burrata layer with a few fresh basil leaves and drizzle with the honey.
- Transfer the pizza base carefully to your piping hot pizza pan and place into the oven for 10 minutes or until the cheese has melted to your liking and the crust is golden and crispy.
- Remove from the oven and carefully transfer to a wire rack to cool for 10 minutes.
- Once the pizza has cooled for 10 minutes, using a large knife or pizza cutter, cut the pizza to serve.
- Garnish with extra fresh basil leaves. Bon appetit!
