Taylor Pass honey, mozzarella, cherry tomato and thyme high-protein pizza

Serves 4

A vibrant balance of sweet and savory, this high-protein pizza pairs creamy mozzarella with juicy cherry tomatoes and fragrant thyme. A drizzle of Taylor Pass honey adds a delicate floral sweetness that elevates every bite, creating a fresh, nourishing twist on a classic favorite.

 

Ingredients

1 Venerdi High Protein Pizza Base
2 garlic cloves, crushed
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
1 ½ cup grated mozzarella
12 cherry tomatoes, halved
Handful fresh thyme stems
Flaky salt to season
Cracked black pepper
1 125g ball fresh mozzarella
Taylor Pass Mānuka Blend Honey to drizzle
Chilli flakes to garnish
Fresh rocket leaves to top

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 200 degrees.
  2. Spread the crushed garlic and olive oil over the pizza base. Season with salt and cracked pepper.
  3. Sprinkle the grated mozzarella on top, followed by the cherry tomatoes – cut side up.
  4. Place in the oven to bake for 9-12 minutes until the cheese is melted and golden.
  5. While the pizza is still hot, break the mozzarella into chunks and place on top.
  6. Sprinkle a little chilli flakes over the pizza and then drizzle generously with the Mānuka Blend honey. Add additional fresh thyme and a scattering of fresh rocket leaves. Enjoy
