Spicy Sausage Pizza

Turn up the heat at your next pizza night with the flavour-packed Spicy Sausage Pizza, made using our Gluten Freedom Fancier Sourdough Pizza Bases!

 

Ingredients

1 packet Venerdi Gluten Freedom Fancier Sourdough Pizza Bases
Pork sausages (casings removed)
Tomato pizza sauce of your choice – we love Anathoth Farm Pizza Sauce Tomato & Herb
Grated mozzarella cheese
Whole cherry tomatoes
Chilli flakes
Pesto
A handful of fresh rocket

 

Method

  1. Cook and break up the pork sausage in a pan with a tablespoon of olive oil until browned.
  2. Spread your chosen pizza sauce over the sourdough base.
  3. Add the cooked sausage, followed by a generous handful of mozzarella.
  4. Arrange the cherry tomatoes evenly and sprinkle with chilli flakes.
  5. Bake until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbling and crisp.

 

To finish

Top with dollops of pesto, slice, and scatter over the fresh rocket.
