Christmas Crostini Wreath

It doesn’t get more festive than this Crostini Wreath! Made with our super-delicious Gluten Freedom Sourdough Long Rolls, this beautiful appetizer is guaranteed to impress.

 

Ingredients

  • 1 packet Gluten Freedom Sourdough Long Rolls
  • 500g ricotta
  • 1 packet prosciutto
  • 2 punnets cherry tomatoes
  • Balsamic glaze (for drizzling)
  • A handful of basil leaves
  • Olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves

 

Method

  1. Prepare the crostini:
    Slice the long rolls into thin pieces, drizzle lightly with olive oil, and bake until just golden.
  2. Roast the tomatoes:
    On a separate tray, place the cherry tomatoes and drizzle with balsamic glaze. Bake until they are slightly blistered.
  3. Add flavour:
    Once the crostini have cooled, rub each piece with a cut garlic clove, then spread a generous layer of ricotta on top.
  4. Assemble the wreath:
    Arrange the ricotta-topped crostini in a circle on a round board to create a wreath shape. Tuck in the blistered tomatoes, pieces of prosciutto, and fresh basil leaves.
  5. Serve and enjoy!
